Hi, I’m Sue I started my new creative journey about five years ago after leaving a very busy job in the NHS. It wasn’t a decision of choice, unfortunately it was made for me as my health determined that I made some life style changes.

It has been difficult at times, I miss the structure of what I often refer to as a proper job, I miss the friendships, the comararda, the buzz. But I’m also very fortunate to be able to follow a simpler more creative pathway.

After dabbling and then falling in love with crochet I have now set up my own little crochet business. I teach one to one lessons and run crochet workshops. I also have a very busy weekly crochet club which is bursting at the seams, I can’t fit anymore members around my dining room table. Crochet has given me a new lease of life.

My new venture has been to stock yarn and I have recently received my first order from Holland which was so exciting.

My blog will share glimpses of my life, my children, my grandchildren and my love of creating things be it a new cake or a crochet blanket.
