New beginnings

Good afternoon everyone I hope you are having a happy March 1st, it’s nearly Spring. I am so excited today and also full of fear and trepidation – if this sounds over dramatic it’s because it is such a big thing for me as I’ve left my old blog  behind and moved over to WordPress. I’m suddenly out of my comfort area, I could navigate confidently around blogger but sadly I couldn’t find a way to add new features. This transition to WordPress has been made easy as my good friend Anna has been leading the way, holding my hand and if I’m totally honest doing all the hard work and setting my blog up for me.

I’m so pleased with the finished product and with Anna’s help I think I can take baby steps forward on my own.

The new format enables me to share information about my crochet workshops and yarn but keeps my Blog on a separate page which is what I wanted. It will take a little time for me to populate everything and I’m sure I will have a few teething problems along the way. I’ve been experimenting with some pattern writing and also have the facility to share these with you.

To celebrate my new blog I’m going to have a little give away. I thought I would share a little parcel of some beautiful Scheepjes Catona yarn. It comes in the cutest mini 25 g balls.

If you would like to receive 5 mini balls of this adorable yarn it’s so easy to enter just leave me a comment and I will draw the winner on Sunday March 6th – so exciting.

I hope you will call by again and follow my new blogging journey, promise to post more frequently.

  2. Just dawned on me that maybe checking out your blog would have helped me figure out where you are in the country and whether your workshops are open to public or just for friends! Lovely blog Sue (didn’t know your previous one) and good luck with it all. I’ll follow with interest as I’m a keen fellow crocheter!! Been teaching myself for the last 18 months and am totally hooked. (kimothyd on IG)
